Arrows from early versions
« on: March 02, 2010, 02:20:56 pm »

I have noticed that arrows created in versions around 6.1 to 6.3 don't import into 6.91. The arrows come in as a red line that I cannot do anything with
Now that we are running from thumb drive, cannot go back to an earlier version of CCad to solve the problem.
Has anyone else noticed this and how have you overcome it.

Thanks.

Rosco:  I confirm that arrows and dimensions created in 6.3 can be opened in 6.81 - if saved they will be OK in 6.91.
If you have a 6.1 or 6.3  job with arrows that you need to access in v6.91, suggest you send to support@civilcad.com.au and we will fix for you.

Even if you are running 6.91 from the USB key, you can load a different version of civilcad on the hard drive and run it from there.

Thanks for the info on being able to run older versions from the hard drive. I still have 6.81 somewhere, so will load that and solve the problem.
